Backups

Our backup and archiving infrastructure utilize Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software provided by BBS Technologies, Inc. CDP is a server software application that enables disk-based data protection and disaster recovery for servers running a Linux or Windows based operating system. CDP Server protects disk volume data using synchronization over LAN and WAN networks storing point-in-time snapshots in disk-based storage. All of our Datacenters are enabled with CDP backup/archiving platforms.

All servers are backed up every 24 hours to onsite and offsite locations. These backups occur between 10:00PM-6:00AM Pacific Standard Time and occur at the block level, putting minimal strain or load on the production and development servers. Onsite data backups are retained for a period of 30 days. Offsite data backups are retained for a period of 90 days. On the 31st or 91st day of the cycle, the oldest incremental snapshot will be purged from the storage arrays.

Our Continuous Data Protection platforms allow multiple forms of data restoration:

• File based restoration
• Block level bare metal restore
• Mysql granular table level restoration
• Data restoration to a remote server or location over a LAN or WAN

Data restoration services are provided at no additional charge, and must be requested by an authorized person assigned to the Keller Technologies account. Restoration procedures can occur 24/7/365 and are given priority queueing over standard backup procedures in our CDP platforms.
